Choir and Harp Music
On the side of her harp career, Cecily is a professional choral singer, having been bought up in the cathedral music tradition. She was an inaugural member of the Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir before going on to Royal Holloway University as a choral scholar in the college’s esteemed collegiate choir. She now holds an alto position at St Bartholomew the Great, the oldest parish church in the City of London where she regularly sings with a professional octet on Sundays and special services throughout the year.
This experience as a singer gives Cecily a unique affinity with music for choir and harp. Cecily regularly works with choirs in concert and recording projects as well as working closely with composers writing new music for this combination.
