2025 Newest Release. This disc features a brand new work ‘Nowel El El’ by the composer and King’s Singer, Piers Connor Kennedy. Written specially for the esteemed vocal ensemble, Ensemble Pro Victoria, Cecily worked closed with the composer on the harp part. It features a companion piece to Britten’s ‘A Ceremony of Carols’ but for 6 male voices.

George Arthur: All Angels
A new album of choral works by British composer George Arthur, performed by The Choir of Royal Holloway and directed by Rupert Gough. It features ‘Speciosa’, George’s response to Benjamin Britten’s ‘A Ceremony of Carols’. The piece is scored for solo harp and distanced groups of upper voices who sing verses from the Stabat Mater Speciosa sequence, in Latin.
Carols of the Harp: Thomas Hewitt-Jones
This EP was released in November 2024 by harpist Cecily Beer, the Chamber Orchestra of London, and composer Thomas Hewitt Jones. The album features three Christmas carols—"Sussex Carol", "Silent Night," and "Bell Carol"—with new arrangements by Hewitt Jones for harp and string orchestra.
Flare features the cantata Pearl of Freedom: a musical record of the events immediately leading up to the Derby of 1913, the incident of the collision between Emily Davison and the King’s horse Anmer, and its aftermath. The work opens with words that Emily Davison wrote in her diary about her passion for women’s suffrage. She uses the expression ‘Pearl of Freedom’ to refer to the ultimate prize of votes for women.
