Welcome to your wedding music portal.
I’m so excited to help shape the soundtrack to your wedding day.
This space has been designed to help guide you through choosing the music for your ceremony and drinks reception in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Inside the planner you’ll be able to browse the repertoire, save your favourite selections, and submit everything directly to me once you’re happy with your choices.
Please don’t worry about getting everything perfect straight away — I’m always very happy to help guide you through the process.
Here are a few answers to some of the questions I’m most often asked, which I hope you’ll find helpful whilst planning the music for your day.
-
Absolutely — I’m constantly adding new music to my repertoire and genuinely love discovering new songs and arrangements, so please do feel free to request something special.
In most cases I’m able to source sheet music easily, but occasionally a piece may need to be transcribed by ear. If that’s the case, there would be a £60 transcription fee to cover the additional preparation time involved.

As a general guide, most civil ceremonies usually include:
• Up to 10 pieces for guest arrival and pre-ceremony music
• 1 piece for the bridal entrance
• 2 pieces during the signing of the registers
• 1 celebratory piece for the newlyweds’ exitOf course, every wedding is different, so this can always be adapted depending on the style and flow of your ceremony.
-
I’ve included some suggested favourites and recommendations throughout the music planner itself to help guide you as you browse.
As a general rule, softer and more atmospheric pieces work beautifully for guest arrival, something meaningful and emotional suits the bridal entrance, and brighter, more uplifting music is lovely for the exit and drinks reception.
Try not to worry too much about choosing the “perfect” songs — the pieces that feel personal to you are usually the ones that create the most memorable moments.

Please don’t worry — many couples feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of choice at first, and I’m always very happy to help guide you through it.
I’ve included some suggested favourites and recommendations within the planner itself for the key parts of the ceremony, which is a great place to start if you’re unsure.
For the drinks reception, you also don’t need to choose every individual song if you’d prefer not to. Many couples simply give me a general style or atmosphere they’d like — along with a few favourite songs or artists — and I can create a bespoke set list around that for the day.
-
As a general guide, I usually begin playing around 15 minutes before the ceremony starts, while guests are arriving and being invited to take their seats. This helps create a warm atmosphere as everyone settles in.
The ceremony itself is often around 20 minutes long, including the entrance, signing of the registers and exit music, although this can vary slightly depending on the venue and registrar.
Drinks receptions are typically around 1.5–2 hours, and I usually include a short break at a natural point during this time to keep the set lengths balanced.
Every wedding runs slightly differently, so I’m always happy to adapt timings to suit the flow of your day.
-
I kindly ask for all final music selections to be submitted at least two weeks before your wedding day. This allows plenty of time for preparation, organising sheet music, and making sure everything feels relaxed and beautifully planned ahead of the day itself.
Of course, small adjustments can often still be made after this point if needed — just get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help.
How to use the planner
Browse through the repertoire and add any pieces you love to the different parts of your day using the planner sidebar. I’d recommend using a computer or laptop where possible to view the repertoire more clearly, although the planner works well on phones and tablets too.
If you aren’t ready to submit your choices straight away, there’s absolutely no pressure to complete everything in one go. Your selections will automatically save on the browser and device you’re using, so you can return at any time, click the above link again and continue where you left off.
Once you’re happy with your choices, simply submit the planner and I’ll receive your selections directly. You’ll also receive a copy by email for your own reference. If you’d like to make any changes afterwards, you can simply return to the planner, update your selections, and resubmit them at any time.
If you feel unsure about any part of the process, please don’t hesitate to ask — I’m always very happy to help guide you.
A final note — please don’t worry if your ideas evolve as the wedding gets closer. Music choices often develop naturally over time, and I’m always happy to make adjustments along the way.
The most important thing is choosing music that feels meaningful to you both.
